Just the way I color skin. This is sort of simplified and stuff for coloring this chibi, but I basically use the same technique for any Photoshop picture. I'm thinking about doing so more of these but they're a lot of work.

Sorry about my lack of spelling (it's not too bad but it's something I'm really self conscious of) and being so wordy. And for this being a lot of the same that's already out there. Oh well. As long as one person picks something useful up from this I'll be happy.

If you guys want to see a tutorial covering any specifics just lemme know and I'll see what I can do. I've planned to do a sketching/inking one and hair. :)

The art used in this tutorial is finished here: [link]

No problem! Hope you got something useful out of it. :XD:
I'll be showing this to my mum! She's been asking me to explain this basic color layering, though I don't work with the clean lines :D You have an Intuos3 ... I want! I have a Graphire4 XL.

Yeah, I have a HUGE 9x12 Intuos 3. I love it, but it's ridiculously big. :XD:
Ugh.... one day I'll have a Cintiq ... *hopes to win lottery* :D Mine is size A5 but it'll do nicely, couldn't afford the Intuos3 A4 size.

Yeah, I think 9x12 is too big, but I've gotten so used to it I don't know that I could work any smaller.
Really great tutorial! Really helpful.

I'm gonna find it in my fairy tale...
