Just hanging around in the good ol' Germany. Last weekend the husband and I took a trip to Amsterdam. It was... interesting. I'll probably post pictures on some other site later, but yeah. Fun fun. This weekend we're hanging at the house and playing WoW. Yeah... doing that again.

When did you join DA and why?
July 8, 2002. I don't remember why. That was right after I graduated from high school. I was probably just bored and stumbled upon this site.

What was the first deviation you uploaded?
Records show it was a picture of my then boyfriend now husband Jacob as a zombie.


How many deviations have you submitted?
Dunno... 100 or so? I'm too lazy to look it up.

Do you submit everything you create?
Kinda sorta? Anything I actually like. As long as it's finished or at least I'm happy with it it usually ends up here.

Do you read all the comments you get?
Every one of them.

Do you reply to all the comments you get?
I try, but a lot of the time I can't think of anything to reply except "Thank you! " and that gets old and impersonal, even if it's not to someone new to my page. So... sorry for that. XD

Do you read all the favourites/watches you get?
I visit all the pages of all the watches I get, and sometimes favs if the name catches my eye. I used to go and thank all my watchers but I've gotten lazy. Same with thanking those who fav me. XD

Do you prefer comments or favs?
I really do love comments, but favs are nice too. I dunno, favs sort of lose their luster for me when I see people fav my entire gallery, not even choose to watch me, and then when I visit their page it seems they do that to every deviant they run across. Sort of takes all the specialness out of it.

How much time do you spend on Deviantart?
I tend to visit my messages/watches and refresh whenever I find myself with the internets and nothing to do. I usually have a tab with dA up all the time.

Do you think that Deviantart is good for critique?
If you're looking for it, it can be. But its definitely not the best.

Do you think there's alot of drama on DA?
I guess. I don't really pay much attention to it besides catching a random drama-filled journal and lolling at it.

Do you think DA would be better if it filtered out people who are not serious at artwork or causing too much drama?
Personally, I would like to see dA accounts kept to artists only, or at least people interested in art. It kinda saddens me that there's accounts just meant for trolling the forums or activities that have nothing to do with what this site is about. But that's just me.

Do you think the age limit should be higher than 13 for creating an account?
I don't think it matters. I know an 11 year-old who's smarter and more mature than over half of the adults I know... hell, including me!

Do you go on the DA forums?
When I'm riddled with boredom, yes. But then I remember that there's nothing there but drama and go do something else.

Would you buy a subscription? Why or why not?
I pay for one, just because I do think it's worth it, even if the differences are little. I spend enough time on this site and it's cheap enough though that it makes sense for me.
